This set comprising a Frog-Design Sailcloth Apron (Waves) and extra pocket is a Yorozuya Frog Goods Store original, made using the traditional sulfide dyeing technique passed down in Japan since the Edo era.
The pattern is not a print, but is formed by starching the pattern onto sailcloth which is then dyed in a rare black.
The apron string is in the old style of sailcloth aprons with its black-striped white front side and black-striped orange reverse.
Attached to the apron string is a pouch for small objects. The extra pocket can also be attached using the apron string. Alternatively, thread a denim belt through the extra pocket for use as a stand-alone hip bag.
The apron is 47x50cm in size with the belt 230cm. The separate pocket is 19x25cm.
