Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase due to error on our part, or if the item is damaged or faulty, please return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date on the postmark. We shall issue a replacement where possible. If a replacement is not possible, we shall give a full refund of the price you paid for the item.

In the event of your having to return an item for reasons other than damage, please pack the item securely and add a slip of paper in the package including your name and contact details. Note: in the event of such a return, the item must be returned in the same condition that it was when it was originally sent. If the item has been damaged, a refund will not be made under any circumstances. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.

If an item is returned to us due to the fact that the shipping address supplied at the time of purchase was incorrect or no longer valid or no one was home at the time of delivery, we will resend the item but all further shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. The same policy holds true in the event of a clothing item, etc., that does not fit but was shipped by GoodsFromJapan.com as ordered by the client. Always double-check the sizes as noted on the site.

Electronic Dictionaries Returns

Refunds or credits do not include original shipping and handling charges. All items must be in the original, undamaged packaging. No refunds or exchanges are allowed after 20 days of purchase.

A handling fee of 20% of the purchase price will be charged on all returned items, unless the item is defective and exchanged for the same item.

To return an item you must e-mail the GoodsFromJapan.com sales team for prior approval. All dictionaries purchased from GoodsFromJapan.com, Ltd., are sold in original factory packaging as supplied to us by the manufacturer/distributor. A dictionary can be returned only if it is the in original manufacturer's packaging, the same condition as sold, with all literature/instructions/etc. and blank warranty cards. Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. Please insure the package and ship via a traceable method. GoodsFromJapan.com is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
