This is the second volume of the Shiroi Chi no Yukue, or “White Cream Goes to Where,” series, written by Kurjira, and published by the gay publishing house G-Men. If you like ‘em round-faced, paunchy, neckless, mustachioed, hairy, and domineering, then this is your “white cup o’ cream.” This 288 page saga follows, in a series of chapters, the huffing puffing escapades of our fat hero Makoto, with a brother and father who don’t understand, through numerous encounters and adventures, from corporate offices to porn filming studios.
White Cream Goes to Where’s main strength is its “trueness to life” in the sense of a TV soap opera, but a very sex charged soap opera full of the same over-the-top emotiveness that characterizes Japanese TV soap operas.
The opening two or three chapters feature the characters in the story, but from the “23th [sic] Story” onwards, flesh comes to predominate, lots and lots of it, along with all sorts of light SM paraphernalia, and the obligatory “white cream” it all involves.
This novel-type manga is recommended if you like to follow a story. Uses simple Japanese.
