The Japanese fans in this series feature scenes that take place in or near Kyoto's Imperial Palace (Gosho), the massive rectangular park park in central Kyoto. It houses the buildings that were home to Japan's royal family until the mid-nineteenth century.

Among the fans are a cherry blossom model, several with a traditional cart, and more.
